Ivica Matošević started his winemaking journey 25 years ago with an experimental approach, producing his first bottle of Beaujolais from Frankovka. Together with a group of enthusiasts, he studied winemaking in Italy and applied the knowledge to transform Istrian wines. Today, Matošević is recognized for turning local varieties like Malvasia and Teran into award-winning wines and establishing Istria as a prominent wine region.
