Deklić Winery

Nestled in the village of Ferenci near Vižinada, the Deklić Winery benefits from the fertile red soil typical of central Istria. Its vineyards, spread across over 20 hectares, surround the picturesque town of Vižinada.

The Deklić family boasts a winemaking tradition that spans over a century. Despite political and social changes, their estate flourished, culminating in the creation of a cutting-edge winery that harmoniously blends into the natural landscape. Managed by siblings David, Dino, and Lucija, with the support of their father Marino and grandfather Konstantin, the family has preserved and advanced their winemaking legacy.

Ambiance

Set into a hillside, the Deklić Winery blends seamlessly with its surroundings, featuring a bold red-brown façade reminiscent of the region’s soil. The structure incorporates modern architectural elements with breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and sea, promising a serene and inspiring visit.

Wines and tasting experience

The Deklić family produces around ten wine labels divided into several lines, showcasing the diverse potential of Istrian terroir.

Fresh Wines: Istrian Malvasia, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Yellow Muscat.
Aged Red Wines: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Teran.
Signature Wine: “Deklić Familia,” a premium red wine blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Teran, aged in wooden barrels to embody the family’s unity and dedication.

Note: Wines crafted in the new facility are anticipated to reflect increased precision and clarity, although tasting programs have not yet been opened to the public.
