Benvenuti Winery
Located in the picturesque village of Kaldir, Benvenuti Winery overlooks nearby Motovun in the heart of the Motovun area. Their vineyards are situated at elevated positions, mostly around their hometown Kaldir, reaching up to 400 meters above sea level. The sunlit slopes and white carbonate soil give a unique character to their wines, while constant winds help maintain the health of the grapes.
The tradition of winemaking in the Benvenuti family, as in many families from Kaldir, has been nurtured for generations. At the beginning of this century, Livio Benvenuti founded the winery with his sons, Alberto and Nikola. Their first wine was introduced to the market in 2004, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. Over the years, Benvenuti Winery has continually evolved, launching new labels and gaining recognition for their dedication to quality.
