Ambiance
The winery sits in a scenic elevated location, with views across central Istria’s rolling hills. The surroundings are tranquil, with vineyards planted over scenic slopes, allowing for a peaceful escape.
The tasting room and family estate give a warm, welcoming feel. As a family business, guests are likely to be personally hosted by Luka or other family members. The environment is informal but attentive, allowing time to savour the wines without rush.
Complementing the wines are local snacks and charcuterie—emphasizing regional Istrian flavours and hospitality. Events and wine tastings are offered, especially during summer, to create special experiences combining nature, wine, and food.
Wines
The winery’s offerings are modest but focused, reflecting both white and red Istrian traditions:
-
Malvazija (2023) – a straw‑yellow dry white with greenish hues; expressive aromas of green apple, pear, grapefruit, and lemon; creamy texture and pronounced minerality.
-
Teran (2022) – robust red, full‑bodied with pronounced berry aromas (raspberry, blueberry), some dark spice, with a bold structure.
-
Muskat Bijeli (2023) – aromatic white; lighter, fragrant style.
-
Teran Rosé (2023) – a lighter, fresh style using Teran grapes.
Price for wines such as Malvazija, Teran, Muskat, Teran Rosé is about €10 per bottle for standard labels.
