Surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, Stancija Rubini is a serene oasis where the Mastilović family has created a welcoming home, vineyards, olive groves, and a winery. Visitors can enjoy walks through the vineyards and olive groves, relax in the shade of old oak trees, and take in expansive views or romantic sunsets. The estate also features sports courts for football, handball, and tennis, while children have the opportunity to meet native animals such as the indigenous Istrian ox, cows, and Istrian donkeys. A family of three dachshunds regularly greets and bids farewell to visitors, adding to the warm atmosphere.
Wines and tasting experience
The winery offers five different types of wines:
Malvasia: 100% Istrian Malvasia with aromas of yellow fruit and hints of elderflower and yellow blossoms. Perfectly paired with seafood.
Rosé from Teran: A deeply pink wine with fruity aromas of strawberry, currant, and cherry. Excellent with fish specialties.
Trinitas: A blend of Teran, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. A wine with a rich structure and aromas of forest fruits and dark chocolate, ideal with red meat and game.
Monteran: A ruby-red wine with intense aromas of forest fruits and a refreshing character, making it pleasant for summer days.
Malvasia aged in Acacia Barrels (Vita): A full, rich wine with a golden-yellow color and aromas of ripe fruit and honey notes, perfect with seafood and meat delicacies.
Visitors can taste these wines in the Stancija Rubini cellar accompanied by finger food or spend time strolling through the vineyards and olive groves. During tastings, guests are served homemade delicacies, including cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruits such as figs and grapes, and freshly baked bread.
