Life-Size Nativity Scene

Each winter, the historic streets of Rovinj become the setting for a beautifully crafted life-size Nativity scene, created by the Christian Community of the City of Rovinj. This unique open-air display brings the Christmas story to life through full-scale figures representing the Holy Family, shepherds, the Three Kings, farm animals, and scenes of everyday life from Bethlehem.

Carefully arranged within the old-town surroundings, the Nativity blends naturally with Rovinj’s medieval architecture, creating a peaceful and visually striking holiday experience. Soft lighting, traditional details and the authentic scale of the figures add depth and emotion, making visitors feel as if they are stepping directly into the biblical scene.
