Set on sunlit hills above the Mirna River, Arman Winery offers panoramic views stretching toward the sea and the Alps. Tastings are held in a refined yet relaxed setting—either indoors in the modern tasting room or outside on the open terrace. The cellar, partially underground, showcases the family’s investment in quality winemaking with stainless steel tanks, barrique barrels, and temperature-controlled storage.

Wines

The estate focuses on both native and international varietals:

• Malvazija Istarska – Fresh and mineral, often aged partially in acacia or stainless steel to preserve aroma and purity.

• Teran – A bold Istrian red with high acidity, notes of forest berries and spices, often aged in wood for complexity.

• Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc – Elegant, fruit-driven whites with structure and finesse.

• Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc – Carefully blended reds with soft tannins and aging potential.

• Rosé – Made from red varietals, offering refreshing acidity and floral fruit notes.

Sparkling and limited-edition cuvées may also be available depending on the season and vintage.

Tasting Experience

Tastings at Arman are guided by a member of the family or team, offering insights into vineyard practices, varietals, and cellar philosophy. Visitors may also tour the production areas and enjoy the wines with curated local snacks.

• Classic Tasting: 3–4 wines with local breadsticks or olives.

• Premium Tasting: Selection of top wines paired with cheese and cured meat.

• Private Vineyard Experience: Includes a walk through the vineyard, guided tasting, and discussion with the winemaker (with prior booking).
