Elder Flower Liqueur

Elder flowers have a distinctive smell and they are attributed by many beneficial effects on health (Sambucus nigra L.). Our grandmothers have long recognized the healing properties of elder flower and they were making syrup for making a juice to their loved ones, grandchildren.

Often the smell of elder flower reminds us on our childhood and our grandmothers who were indispensable in our development. Exactly that was a guiding principle for us to try macerate the fresh elder flower in our Istrian brandy.

Results have thrilled us and we decided to make this fantastic sweet and very refreshing liqueur with good old intense aroma and flavor of elder flower, from exactly the same elder tree that were used by our grandmothers.

Elder Flower Liqueur is necessary to really cool off and add a slice of fresh lemon in a glass to get a magic return to childhood.
